Who are we?

Laurie’s Top Styles is a long-established, family-run hair salon serving the Newcastle West community since 1983. The business first opened in a small room in the Central Hotel and later moved to Murphy’s in 1985, where it continued to grow until 2003. In October of that year, the salon relocated to Bridge Street, which has been its home ever since.
Originally starting with just two staff members, the salon has grown steadily over the years while maintaining its commitment to professional service and a welcoming environment. In July 2020, Laurie’s daughter Karen joined the business, continuing the family tradition and bringing a new generation into the salon.
Today, Laurie’s Top Styles is proud to have a team of four experienced stylists, providing quality hair care for ladies and gents of all ages.

Parking
There is limited parking available on bridge street, along with parking in the nearby square and also in the market yard.
